(the prophetic is below these two songs)
Cousin Dupree – song by Steely Dan
Well, I’ve kicked around a lot since high school
I’ve worked a lot of nowhere gigs
From keyboard man in a rock ‘n’ ska band
To haulin’ boss crude in the big rigs
Now I’ve come back home to plan my next move
From the comfort of my Aunt Faye’s couch
When I see my little cousin Janine walk in
Well, all I could say was, “Ouch”
Honey, how you’ve grown
Like a rose
Well we used to play
When we were three
How about a kiss for your cousin Dupree
How about a kiss for your cousin Dupree
She turned my life into a living hell
In those little tops and tight capris
I pretended to be readin’ the National Probe
As I was watchin’ her wax her skis
On Saturday night she walked in with her date
And backs him up against the wall
I tumbled off the couch and heard myself sing
In a voice I never knew I had before
Honey, how you’ve grown
Like a rose
Well we used to play
When we were three
How about a kiss for your cousin Dupree
How about a kiss for your cousin Dupree
I’ll teach you everything I know
If you teach me how to do that dance
Life is short and quid pro quo
And what’s so strange about a down-home family romance?
One night we’re playin’ gin by a cracklin’ fire
And I decided to make my play
I said, “Babe, with my boyish charm and good looks
How can you stand it for one more day?”
She said, “Maybe it’s the skeevy look in your eyes
Or that your mind has turned to applesauce
The dreary architecture of your soul”
I said, “But what is it exactly turns you off?”
Honey, how you’ve grown
Like a rose
Well we used to play
When we were three
How about a kiss for your cousin Dupree
How about a kiss for your cousin Dupree
How about a kiss for your cousin Dupree
How about a kiss for your cousin Dupree
How about a kiss for your cousin Dupree
How about a kiss for your cousin Dupree
How about a kiss for your cousin Dupree
How about a kiss for your cousin Dupree
How about a kiss for your cousin Dupree
How about a kiss for your cousin Dupree
How about a kiss for your cousin Dupree
How about a kiss for your cousin Dupree
How about a kiss for your cousin Dupree
How about a kiss for your cousin Dupree
How about a kiss for your cousin Dupree
How about a kiss for your cousin Dupree
How about a kiss for your cousin Dupree
Cousin Dupree – Steely Dan
Much is satire
Barrytown – Steely Dan 1974
I’m not one to look behind
I know that times must change
But over there in Barrytown
They do things very strange
And though you’re not my enemy
I like things like they used to be
And though you’d like some company
I’m standing by myself
Go play with someone else
I can see by what you carry
That you come from Barrytown
Don’t believe I’m taken in
By stories I have heard
I just read the Daily News
And swear by every word
And don’t think that I’m out of line
For speaking out for what is mine
I’d like to see you do just fine
But look at what you wear
And the way you cut your hair
I can see by what you carry
That you come from Barrytown
In the beginning we recall
That the word was hurled
Barrytown people got to be
From another world
Leave me or I’ll be just like
The others you will meet
They won’t act as kindly
If they see you on the street
And don’t you scream or make a shout
There’s nothing you can do about
It was there where you came out
It’s a special lack of grace
I can see it in your face
I can see by what you carry
That you come from Barrytown
(Insights to the following verse: When do most people go to work? Dawn. Who is management? The dawn patrol. Shotgun is “the boss is on the sauce.” or shotgun is “a tyrant.”)
(For some people on the streets the dawn patrol could be the cops.)
When the dawn patrol got to tell you twice
They’re gonna do it with a shotgun
Yes, I’m cashing in this ten-cent life
For another one
verse from Night By Night – Steely Dan 1974
3 years after the song Night By Night, a big clue to ten-cent life in the following verse (thus opening the door for the other clues):
“Aja, when all my dime dancin’ is through
I run to you.”
Steely Dan accurately predicted “the work” going to Asia. (dime dancin’ is “work.” and ten-cent life is “work.”
But there is another meaning to that refrain. And here it is:
TCM or TOM, Traditional Oriental Medicine is 2,500+ years old. It is like a beautiful well-maintained garden. Based from a solid foundation of what works in body energetics to produce healthy and happy growing people, TCM supported China to thrive, and China supported it. Being an honest search with true discoveries, Traditional Chinese Medicine helped China to flourish.
China had the advantage of a large land mass with many people.
China had moments of peace where the arts and humanity flourished with China’s isolation from the dogma & doctrine promoting world outside of China.
Which species makes the most impact? Humans.
TCM, Traditional Chinese Medicine was a major factor in the success of China.
So, after work you may want to visit an herbalist.
“Aja, when all my dime dancin’ is through,
I run to you.”
Or, after work (dime dancin’), maybe an acupuncture treatment.

Touch & Hold
I Wanna Hold Your Hand – The Beatles 1964
Oh, yeah, I’ll tell you somethin’
I think you’ll understand
When I say that somethin’
I want to hold your hand
I want to hold your hand
I want to hold your hand
Oh, please, say to me
You’ll let me be your man
And please, say to me
You’ll let me hold your hand
You’ll let me hold your hand
I want to hold your hand
And when I touch you
I feel happy inside
It’s such a feelin’ that my love
I can’t hide
I can’t hide
I can’t hide
Yeah, you got that somethin’
I think you’ll understand
When I say that somethin’
I want to hold your hand
I want to hold your hand
I want to hold your hand
And when I touch you
I feel happy inside
It’s such a feelin’ that my love
I can’t hide
I can’t hide
I can’t hide
Yeah, you got that somethin’
I think you’ll understand
When I feel that somethin’
I want to hold your hand
I want to hold your hand
I want to hold your hand
I want to hold your hand
